New to Buffer? Connect your social accounts inside Buffer first.

1. Get API from Buffer (It's Free)

1. Logged into Buffer → https://publish.buffer.com/settings/api
2. New / Create API → copy it (password-like).

2. Paste + pick accounts (Prometheus)

1. Configure → your business → Social media (URL like /setup/business/2?tab=social).
2. Paste key → Save key (or Load channels on brand-new business preview). Channels should list when the key works.
3. Toggle on only the profiles this business uses; save if prompted.

New key later? Old links clear by design—paste again, re-toggle the right profiles on Social media.
